MtScript: User Agreement

This is a legal agreement between you ("the User") and the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique. In obtaining, using and/or copying MtScript (hereafter "the Software"), you agree that you have read, understood, and will comply with the following terms and conditions:

GRANT OF LICENSE. The Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique grants the User the right to use the Software for non-commercial, non-military purposes only.

COPYRIGHT. The Software is owned by the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique and is protected by the French copyright laws and the international treaty provisions.

RESTRICTIONS. No part of the Software may incorporated into any other software or product which is distributed to other parties without prior permission from the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique. CREDITS. If the Software is used to produce results reported in any paper, publication, or other public document, this use must be acknowledged in the publication.

NO LIABILITY. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHORS OR THE CENTRE NATIONAL DE LA RECHERCHE SCIENTIFIQUE BE LIABLE TO ANY PARTY FOR DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE USE OF THE SOFTWARE, ITS DOCUMENTATION, OR ANY DERIVATIVES THEREOF, EVEN IF THE AUTHORS OR THE CENTRE NATIONAL DE LA RECHERCHE SCIENTIFIQUE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE.

NO WARRANTY. THE AUTHORS AND THE CENTRE NATIONAL DE LA RECHERCHE SCIENTIFIQUE SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIM ANY WARRANTIES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" BASIS, AND NEITHER THE AUTHORS NOR THE CENTRE NATIONAL DE LA RECHERCHE SCIENTIFIQUE HAVE ANY OBLIGATION TO PROVIDE MAINTENANCE, SUPPORT, UPDATES, ENHANCEMENTS, OR MODIFICATIONS.

APPLICABLE LAW. This agreement shall be governed by the laws of France.
